Racism LOL

It’s hard to convey but the racism the media typically reports on isn’t the universal racism visual minorities experience.

A number of my visual minority friends have experienced funny racist encounters. I have a couple. It's typically somebody so determined to be racist but doesn't have enough "knowledge" to be properly racist. Talk about ignorance. I understand racism is rooted in ignorance but man be racist properly.

Like put some time and effort into your hate! Have some a doc, read a book, brush up on your stereotypes...just don't go through the motions.

In the US all my brown friends and family experienced 9-11 fueled racism...don't matter if they're Indian, Persian etc. Come on...that’s so lazy it’s offensive.

Doesn't the KKK have helpful flashcards to separate races? For a racist organization that’s been around for at least a hundred years aren’t they more organized? Or they just hatin for the sake of hatin?

I'm engineers and pharmacists; not convenience stores and taxi drivers! Take a few minutes and brush up on your stereotypes... find out which brown people drive cabs, which open convenient stores, which are computer superstars...we're not all the same. Different cultures, different ethnic foods etc.

In many sad ways globalization left a lot of racists flat footed. Progress...
